Limoges jardiniere displays the Paroutaud Freres Limoges factory Mark #2 under glaze in green. The factory mark dates this item to 1903-1917.
The white background becomes barely visible as the eye travels into the depth of the purples, lilacs, greens and slight ruby undertones used by the artist to complete this masterpiece of color and design.
The pair of birds are perched upon a branch and the detailing is so incredible that the tiny feet of the birds are visible to the naked eye!
