This doll was made in 1951 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Käthe Kruse company and their final move to West Germany. Three dolls were made in the style of the 1911 dolls. The fact that this doll is marked "Jacky" rather than "Jockerle" indicates that it was made for the US market. These dolls were very expensive and very few were made. He is 17.5 inches tall. No odors. The price reflects that he is missing his knit cap.
