Iridescent opal glass cased over uranium glass with pulled vertical maroon trailings, and beautiful pink iridescent spotting around the base. Fire polished rim, with a ground and polished pontil. Really a beautiful rare piece of high quality Pallme-König
Glasfabrik Elizabeth, beter known as Pallme-König, started around 1888. Clearly following the Art Nouveau trends that were exhibited at the Paris Exhibition of 1900. Case 245 at the Passau Museum contains several versions of these types of Pallme-König decorations.
Dimensions: ~ 10" tall. Condition: Excellent, no chips, cracks or other damage. Maker: Pallme-König, Bohemia. Vintage: c. 1900
