This is a decorative 18ct solid gold 5-stone diamond and sapphire gemstone ring. The 3 sapphire gemstones are claw-set into the ring and are each of lovely quality, ranging in size from 1.75mm to 3.0mm(central). These are inter-spaced by 2 'old-cut' type diamond gemstones, also claw-set into the ring. All of the gemstones are housed into an off-set marquise shaped panel and exposed to the reverse side of the head of the ring. There are 'scroll engraved markings' above and below the gemstones, a feature which enhances the attractive appearance of the ring. The ring exhibits a full striking Birmingham 18ct gold assay hallmark for the year 1919 on the inside circumference of its shank. Size 'L'(UK), 6.0(US). Weighs 2.4 grams. The ring is in exceptional condition throughout with genuine gemstones, no repairs and full authentication for its year of manufacture.
