This is a quality antique 18ct solid gold 5-stone diamond gemstone ring in which the gemstones are graduated from the central stone. The diamonds are 'old-cut' type and claw-set into the ring. They are white and bright and exposed to the reverse side of the head of the ring to allow the light to shine through and make them sparkle. The total diamond content in the ring is 0.2ct weight. The upper regions of the shank exhibit 'oblique ridged markings and punch markings' which enhances the appearance and character of the ring. The ring displays a full striking Chester 18ct gold assay hallmark for the year 1915 on the inside circumference of its shank. Size 'N'(UK), 7.0(US). Weighs 3.3 grams. The ring is in excellent condition throughout with genuine diamond gemstones, no repairs and a full hallmark to authenticate its year of manufacture.
