This is a decorative 18ct solid gold 5-stone diamond and ruby gemstone ring in which the gemstones are claw-set in an alternating configuration. The diamonds are 'old-cut' type and all of the gemstones are exposed to the reverse side. The claws to the ring are extended, giving rise to large perforations down the sides of the head of the ring. There is a Birmingham 18ct gold assay hallmark for the year 1920 on the inside circumference of the shank. Size 'L-M'(UK), 6.25(US). Weighs 2.9 grams. The ring is in excellent condition throughout with genuine gemstones and without repair.
