This is a vibrant and pretty vintage 9ct solid gold diamond, opal and garnet gemstone cluster ring. The head of the ring measures 16.0mm in diameter and is encrusted with a central diamond gemstone, bordered around its periphery by 8 alternating, tear-drop shaped opal and garnet gemstones. These are all in superb condition, claw-set into the ring and each of size 6.5mm x 3.75mm. The opal gemstones exhibit a range of bright dynamic colours in the light and the garnet gemstones are translucent, all exposed to the reverse side of the ring to allow the light to shine through. The upper regions of the shank are 'trifurcated', bearing central marquise shaped stems. There is a full London 9ct gold assay hallmark on the inside circumference for the shank. Size 'Q'(UK), 8.5(US). Weighs 3.3 grams. The ring is in top condition throughout with genuine gemstones, no repairs and full authentication for its year of manufacture.
