It is clean, of good quality and exposed to the reverse side of the head of the ring. There is 'scroll engraving, twist gold-work and open-work' to the sides of the head of the ring and deep 'V-shaped grooving' to the upper regions of the shank, attributes that enhance the appearance and character of the ring. There is a Birmingham 18ct gold assay hallmark for the year 1913 to the inside circumference of the shank. Size 'N'(UK), 7.0(US). Weighs 4.9 grams. The ring is in very nice condition with a genuine diamond gemstone and authentication for its year of manufacture.
