This is a pretty Edwardian 18ct solid gold diamond solitaire gemstone ring in which the diamond gemstone is claw-set into a pretty 'raised umbrella like mount'. It is 'old-cut' type, good quality and exposed to the reverse side of the head of the ring. The upper regions of the shank are highly decorative and terminate into 'arrow points'. There is a full Birmingham 18ct gold assay hallmark for the year 1905 on the inside circumference of the shank. Size 'N-O'(UK), 7.25(US). Weighs 2.7 grams. The ring is in very nice condition throughout with a genuine diamond gemstone, no repairs and full authentication for its year of manufacture --- a lovely unique item of fine Edwardian jewellery.
