Edwardian wedding rings such as this one have remained in style since the 1910s. This ring has a sparkling 3 mm round brilliant cut diamond prong set in an ornate filigree 18 karat white gold square shaped bezel setting. The lacey open work designs on this ring certainly remind one of the lace curtains and doilies found in so many homes of that era.
There are no marks on the ring, but it tested as 18 karat gold. The high dome setting sits about 7 mm (1/4 inch) off the finger.
The ring weighs 1.4 grams and is a size 5 3/4 US. It is in great condition.
