This pin is inspired by the Art Nouveau period. It features the female figure with her large loose upswept hair style placed against a backdrop of foliage. The pin also could hold a watch which would be suspended from the hook at the bottom of the pin.
The pin is marked "Sterling" and "Admark" on the back. It has a protective coating on it to keep the silver from tarnishing, making it difficult to test. This coating has also worn in several places, but does not affect the beauty of the pin. Admark is the name of a Philadelphia, PA jewelry company that opened in the mid 1950s.
The pin weighs 5.6 grams and is about 1 inch round. There are a few sections with the loss of protective coating, but they are mostly on the back of the pin.
