This sterling silver antique charm was most likely used as a watch fob. I put it with a 15 inch yellow gold filled chain to wear as a stunning pendant. The center of the ornate etched fob has a rose gold wash shield that can be left plain or inscribed by the wearer.
The fob is hallmarked on the back. It has the anchor for Birmingham, the lion passant for sterling silver and a letter "N" which dates the piece to 1912. There is also a maker's mark, "W.W.C". The chain is stamped "1/20 12K" and "M". It weighs 0.9 grams.
This great piece is 4 cm x 3 cm (1 9/16 inches x 1 3/16 inches) and weighs 3.2 grams. It is in wonderful condition with only light wear to the center shield.
