This vintage ring has five round bead-set diamonds in an 18 karat yellow gold setting. The center diamond, measuring 2.00 mm, is flanked by two 1.5 mm diamonds, followed by two 1.00 mm diamonds. The setting has decorative open work scrolls on the top and bottom and incised confronted c-curves on the shoulder. The open work gold gives this ring a light, delicate and feminine air.
The ring has the English hallmark for Birmingham, 18 karat gold and the year 1916. The ring tested as 18 karat gold.
The ring weighs 2.6 grams and is a size 6 1/4 US. It is in excellent condition.
