This is a vintage 14K gold 3D Milk Can charm with a moveable lid that is attached to a chain. The lid can be removed from the milk can and it snaps back on securely. This charm is very well made and was crafted by Carl-Art back in the day. Carl-Art was a jewelry manufacturing plant, as well as a wholesaler. Their 3 to 4 story building covered most of the block in the jewelry center of Providence, Rhode Island during the 1940s and 1950s. It stood just a block away from the building owned by Speidel. Carl-Art sold silver, gold, and gold filled costume jewelry under their own name, and also manufactured fine jewelry for other companies including Walter Lampl.
This remarkable vintage 14K gold milk can charm would make a wonderful addition to a 14K gold charm bracelet or collection. It is such a cool piece!
