One of the rarest, most collectible, and most sought-after Limoges pattern ever made!
This is a light pink Drop Rose saucer made by Haviland, Schleiger 55. The mark on the back was used from the 1890's into the 1930's. This saucer was made early in the period, probably in the early 1900's.
The saucer is 5-1/2 inches across. It has light ribbing, some of which can be seen in the photos.
There's a chip nestled down inside the sculpted edge, minor gold loss on the edge and a small, thin streak of paint to the left of the dropped rose (see photos). Minor surface and factory marks, gold wear and patina typical of antique hand applied gold are possible and are actually a validation of the age of this saucer.
