Stunning Meissen pedestal cup and saucer from the Marcolini Period (1774-1814). The set has a beautiful color combination of blue and gold stripes, Watteau cartouches and borders of gold enamel beads.
The saucer is 5-5/8 inches. The cup is 4-3/4 tall with a 3 inch opening. This substantial cup and saucer set weighs about 14 ounces.
There are several negligible chips on the saucer ring (last picture) and minor (very minor) manufacturing roughness on the edges. Otherwise exceptional condition, no enamel loss, no missing gold enamel beads.
