Today I am selling a stunning Victorian 14k gold stick pin. The top is shaped like a crooked fleur de lis covered in seed pearls and one round amethyst stone. It is hallmarked '14K' next to a partial 'x' in a circle (probably a maker's mark) on the back, as seen in photo #2. Both the top and the pin also acid tested positive for 14 karat gold. The pin is slightly bent towards the bottom but the tip is sharp.
CONDITION: Very good for its age. The amethyst is lightly scratched and a little dirty, but that can only be seen with a loupe. No seed pearls are missing, and they are a uniform greyish white with slight nacre wear except for the one under the amethyst which may be a replacement. Minor tarnish to the 14 karat gold, mostly around the seed pearls.
CIRCA: Late Victorian Era
MEASUREMENTS: Top is a little over 5/8 of an inch tall and a little over 1/2 an inch at its widest, full length is almost 2 1/2 inches; weighs 1.5 grams
