A set of truly exceptional quality, for the richness of its decoration, its form and sculpting. The set includes two spoons, two forks and two servers. It is extremely rare to find a service as complete, probably a special order, it allows to be used for Hors D'oeuvre like for dessert. Unusual, the pierced handles are gilded with 18-karat gold. The set is presented in its original box, monogrammed. The six sterling pieces are not monogrammed.

Suffice it to say that the family Cardeilhac was active in the silversmithing since 1802 and was absorbed by the prestigious Christofle in 1951 (which always publishes these models) to glimpse the importance of this manufactory!

The Maison Cardeilhac has exhibited and won medals in most exhibitions of the 19th century. It is a cutler who became one the most important French manufacturing-silversmiths of all types of cutlery rich and silverware.
