An exceptional set from the point of view of its design as well as the quality of the engraving. Extremely rare model, Art Nouveau period, the bowls with embellishments, the end are pierced and decorated with chestnut leaves, terminating with a tiny chestnut. No monograms.
From a drawing by the prestigious Maurice Giot (1873-1953) taken from "Les trois règnes de la nature" Paris 1853-1854. The painter/sculptor/landscape Maurice Giot was a member of the Society of French Artists from 1896 onwards. His silverware designs were produced by the silversmiths Henri Soufflot, as well as Alphonse Debain and He´nin. Maurice Giot was awarded a bronze medal for silversmithing in the Artist's Section in the 1900 Paris Universal Exhibition. Undoubtedly collectibles!

Prestigious silversmith: Henin Cie. 33 rue des Archives - Paris. He was active from may 11, 1875 to July 3, 1891.
Suffice it to say that the family Henin was active in the silversmithing since October 4, 1861 to glimpse the importance of this manufactory!
