Suffice it to say that the family Cardeilhac was active in the silversmithing since 1802 and was absorbed by the prestigious Christofle in 1951 (which always publishes these models) to glimpse the importance of this manufactory!

The Maison Cardeilhac has exhibited and won medals in most exhibitions of the 19th century. It is a cutler who became one the most important French manufacturing-silversmiths of all types of cutlery rich and silverware. circa 1880 Gold Medal "class cutlery", Universal Exhibition of 1878, silver medal in the section "silverware", Universal exhibition of 1889.
