A superb set of Chinese pottery figures of three soldiers armed with an axe, spear and bow.
The figures date to Ming Dynasty, 1368-1644 AD.
They are placed on plints and wear a harness over their coats. Coat & harness are colored in the two-colour green and yellow Sancai glaze. Pigmented details in black and white colors.
High quality figures with fine details.
Size: c. 23 m high. (c. 9 inches).
Condition: A nearly superb pair of pottery figures with wear for age and type. Very tiny chip to the bow, just mentioned to be excact.
