A rare and large pottery figure of a female attendant holding a teapot in front of her chest.
The figure dates to Ming Dynasty, 1368-1644 AD.
She is placed on a square plint and has very artfully styled hair. She is clad in a robe colored in beautiful two-colour green and yellow glaze. Pigmented details in black and white colors of which some still remain.
An impressive and large Ming Dynasty pottery figure with very fine details.
Size: c. 33 cm high and 12 cm wide. The figure itself weighs 1,6 kg. on the kitchenweight.
Condition: Nearly superb. Completely intact with wear only to pigmented areas.
