A rare and unusually heavy Regency silver candlestick or chamberstick with pleated rim, engraved with a detailed coat of arms or crest with a Unicorn on top, the maker was Robinson, Edkins & Aston, in Birmingham and it can be dated to 1834.
Exceptionally attractive antique silver candlestick, rarely seen this heavy and well-crafted!
Condition: Superb! very light wear for age and type, details quite sharp and not greatly polished.
Weight: 366 grams! Unusually for this type, normally they are around 100-200 grams.
