Choice and perfect Egyptian amulet of a striding Thoeris, dating to the late period, c. 700-300 BC.
The amulet very attractive in a green faiance with nice details. Mounted to a plexi base, marked 0 in the ES collection, description card included in the pictures.
Size: 28 mm. high (36m. incl. the costum base)
Condition: Superb, unrestored with finely preserved glaze, thus rare. Provenance: Private German Collection (ES), bought between 1952-72 from the Collection Prof. Haeberlin, from an older collection, and brought back from Egypt in the 19th. century.
