A rare pair of large and massive Chinese tomb pottery figures of attendants, Ming Dynasty, 1368-1644 AD.
The figures stand on a small square plints and are clad in a dark green- and blue-glazed robes and coloured tunic, with coloured belts and on the heads high black and red hats. One holds a Ming Dynasty military helmet, the other a large fat fish!. The figures with painted with very fine facial details.
Size: c. 28-30 cm. high and massive. Unusually large.
Condition: Superb for type and age, some minor chips and wear.
