An exceptionally crisp Egyptian bronze figure dating to the 1st. millenium BC Egyptian bronze figure of the god Osiris in mummified form wearing Atef-crown with Uraeus. Braided beard curved at the tip, holding the royal regalia crock and flail. Note the exceptional facial expression and details of the cobra ready to strike - all very crisp! An encrustation on the back.
Size: A larger piece, measuring ca. 14 cm. professionally mounted, with a very old collection-mounting. We haven't measured it alone but it would measure ca. 12 cm. incl. the tang Condition: Superb and exceptional quality with fine dark-green patina. Ex. Old Danish Private Collection.
