This is an original highly detailed woodcut of Noah' Ark. It is done on a very fine rice paper. It is in perfect condition and any glares or white spots are a result of shooting through glass. Fritz Richter's artwork is shown in galleries worldwide. This is a very beautiful example of his work.
He died in 1981 in Berchtesgaden, Germany, having been born in 1904 in Salzburg, Austria. The frame is mahogany and measures 9.75" x 11.75". The image measures 4.75" x 6.75". This includes the lower part with penciled title and signature. The matte is beveled and the presentation very good. It is ready to hang.
