A beautiful cobalt blue and heavy gold gilt Andre Prevot Limoges, France, cup and saucer.
It is in immaculate condition. On the bottom it reads, translated: True Overlay, Double Gilding, Polished agate; Limoges France. The mark is that of Andre Prevot who began decorating porcelain in Limoges around 1945. He then expanded to making porcelain between 1945 and 1958. The Prevot Andre Limoges factory operated between 1952-1963. He died in 1978.
The saucer has a width of 5.375 inches and a depth of one inch. The cup has a width of 3.25 inches and a height of two inches.
