These are the songs from Kipling's Just So Stories set to music by Edward German. It is in the publishers original pictorial green cloth. It is a near fine copy with slight rubbing at spine ends. There is very minor foxing. The binding is fairly tight. Pages 39 and 41 have a tear in the bottom right hand corner. They cut the corner diagonally. In 1903 McMillan published the first UK edition. Doubleday, with whom Kipling had a special relationship, agreed to publish the book simultaneously in the United States, also in 1903. The Doubleday printing is the first American edition.
