This is a real beauty; in perfect condition with no chips or scratches. It is hard to date these plates as the original company was Jaeger and Thomas (see Thomas mark on the back) from 1898 to 1902. In 1902 Fritz Thomas left the company and founded Polzellanfabrik Markt Redwitz Thomas and Ens which lasted from 1903-1908. That partnership was dissolved in 1908 and Thomas continued as Porzellanfabrik F. Thomas then sold the company the same year to Rosenthal in Selb. The Thomas mark on the back could be considered a signature but in reality is the company's mark so I am thinking the correct date would probably be around 1908.
A very nice addition to any collection of Sevres or hand painted rose dishes. The diameter is nine inches.
