This 7” composition doll was made by the Vogue Doll Company in the 1940s before their Ginny doll came along. She has fine face paint with no loss. Her head is marked Vogue in back and her lower back is marked Doll Co. There is slight crazing on her legs and each leg has an intentional hole on the inside of the thighs with some paint chipping as photographed. She is dressed in a cotton waffle fabric dress with matching pantaloons (elastic stretched out) and the dress has the narrow tag that reads “Original Vogue Dolls, Inc.” She has white rayon socks and pink oil cloth tie shoes. She has a mohair blond wig.
