This tall Simon and Halbig 1009 has a socket head with a shoulder plate. There is no damage to the head or plate. The shoulder plate is lined with soft kid leather. She has lovely cobalt blue open and closing eyes-the lids need to be rewaxed. She has pierced ears with pale peach colored earrings. One hole has a flake off. Her facial coloring is lovely. She has a human hair wig with lots of curls. Her lower arms are bisque as well and without damage. Her kid body has repairs on each upper arm and reinforced rivet area, across her upper torso, and on the rivet hole at the top of the left upper leg. She is very flexible with joints at her shoulders, elbows, hips, and knees-but consider the repaired areas at the joints to be as is. The body has seen lots of use but is stable with its kid leather "band-Aids". She is dressed in a vintage replacement satin long jacket and underdress. The seamstress did a lovely job using antique lace and great tiny enameled buttons. She has a chemise, pantaloons and petticoat that are all vintage or antique. Her socks are patterned cotton knit and her shoes are antique and tie up well on her full ankles. Her markings are only S & H 1009 and DEP. This places the head in the pre 1892 era when country of origin was required on exports. I have more photos if you would need to see more.
