This pair of 12" dolls were made by the Eugenia Co. during the 1940s-probably during WW2. Their wigs are made from string in blond and brown shades. They each have their original outfits with labels. And each doll is marked "Eugenia" at the back of the neck. I have the original socks as well. The composition faces have light crazing and the blond sister has a wee crack on one eye lid as photographed. All fingers are present. Their bodies are cloth. They each have their original oilcloth shoes. Their eyes open and close with lush lashes. The sister doll still has her original hair ribbon. The wigs are a bit askew and I am not sure what one does with string wigs but they are still full.
