This 11" little sweetie was made by Madame Alexander in the 1930s. She is a composition Wendy Ann with tin open and closing eyes. She has a human hair wig-it has just been gently washed and is ready for some curls. It is in very nice condition. She came with her original brass barrettes. Her outfit is wonderful. She has panties and a full length slip in great condition with matching lace and pink ribbon trim. Her dress is the quintessential little girl's party dress. It is made of gossamer silk organza. There are a few small holes and one mend. All the closures are typical Alexander square snaps. She is unmarked which is usual for these early Alex compos. She originally had a large bow in her hair. It was gone when I got her so has been replaced with a silk bow from the same era as this little doll. She still has her original socks and side snap shoes. Her body still has great color with only very slight and occasional crazing.
