Aqua quart size “Protector” fruit jar made C. 1871-1872 by the Cohansey Glass Manufacturing Company of Philadelphia and Bridgetown, NJ. Has bold arched embossing, marked with the number 15 on the base. Has older tin lid with wire that engages glass ramps. Very clear and in excellent condition with only small nicks around the ground top as expected with age and usage. Slightly squatty in appearance it measures only 7” tall.
