A two piece German inlaid display cabinet in satinwood with kingwood banding, c. 1840. Has a single central dovetailed drawer, dovetail case construction. The three bowed glass panels are original and intact, and the mirror back gives the illusion of the display area as round. Photos are taken outside and inside, the inside ones showing the two glass shelves that are included. The piece has nice coloration and a mellow patina. The piece is in very good condition with minor cosmetic flaws and losses, and veneer separation as a natural occurrence from age. Has working keys for the top and bottom. Measures 63.25”h x 33”w x17”d.
