A nice regency period dining table in mahogany and plum pudding mahogany, c. 1825-1830. The top has a fine polished finish amplifies the beautiful wood color. Dining for 4 to 6 people. Has the typical ring turned center pedestal and four down swept legs, all of mahogany. The legs are capped with brass square capped casters which allows the table to easily roll. Has a single mahogany dovetailed drawer with secondary wood oak, and a false drawer on the reverse side. In overall excellent condition with small professional repairs. Very sturdy with double swing out arm supports for each leaf. Brass handles very old, possibly original. Casters original and in excellent working order. Measures 53” wide with the leaves open, 47”deep and 29”high.
