A tall and distinctive pair of mid 18th century sterling silver weighted candlesticks. Decorative features include Corinthian capitals, stop fluted shafts, and double gadrooned bases. Have had repair and has minor dings throughout. Marks(between 1755-1776) on the base partially discernible with maker’s mark of “EC” believed to be the mark of London silversmith Ebenezer Coker who was working in this time period and know for this form of candlestick. Measures 13” tall and the bases are 5” square.
