C. 1885 American quart size aqua Fruit Jar embossed “ELECTRIC FRUIT JAR” with a globe in the middle. Says pat ap’d for on the base. Has correct glass top but missing wire clamp. Jar was patented by William H. Clarke of Olean, NY in 1885. Has some cloudiness but nicely whittled and bold embossing. Needs further cleaning around the top edge and outer base. Measures 7.5”Tall with glass top in place.
