Exceptional New York marble pier table c. 1820 with carved giltwood capitals and base. Fine example of the high urban style with neoclassical features. Made of mahogany with front legs and pilasters of rosewood. Retains original "Egyptian" marble and mirror plate. In good condition with a polished finish with minor imperfections and minor fading. The marble has a few chips along the edge. Measures 45"wide X 37" high X 19"deep.
