A quart size aqua hand blown wax sealer fruit jar with a groove ring, laid on top. The jar was made in the 1880's and 1890's by the Agnew Company, LTD in Pittsburgh, PA. The base is embossed "JOHN AGNEW AND SON PITTSBURGH PA" Also, a capital "A". This is an absolutely beautiful jar that is in excellent condition. It is whittled and has a shimmering glow. It measures 6.7"tall.
