An inlaid French side cabinet, possibly a bookcase. Made in the empire style circa 1910. Has marquetry inlaid floral veneers on the front and parquetry angular veneers on the side. The woods are kingwood and mahogany mainly. Also, a marble top with corresponding brass gallery surround. The cabinets have bronze ram's head front mounts, a central lower skirt mount, and front feet sabots. The cabinet is in very good condition with a polished finish to the wood. The front of the brass railing has been repaired on both corners and the marble has a central hairline fracture. The cabinet measures 36"wide X 41"high X 10.5"deep.
