A heavy ring turned Spanish cast brass candlestick c. 1690, on a square saucer base on bold animal paw feet. Has a candle extraction hole on one side. The prominent molded edge on the top and bottom of the candle cup identify it as Spanish. It is in very good age appropriate condition with all the pings, dings, dents, and imperfections from usage over many generations. It has an old repair to a crack in the saucer base, perhaps 100 years ago. It measures 6.85"high with a square base measurement of 5" excluding the paw feet.
