A large, heavy English Serling silver punch ladle by William Eaton(active 1811-1840) in London in 1838. Eaton was known for tableware objects, mainly spoons. One small ding in the bowl and minor surface scratches commensurate with its age. Has the family crest on the reverse side of the handle. Excellent condition with no repairs or restoration. Measures 14" long and with a bowl width of 4". Weighs 9 ounces.
