A beautiful pair of petite five drawer inlaid French cabinets with breche d'alep marble tops in the Louis XV/Louis XVI transitional style. Made c. 1920, the cabinets are of of fruitwood and have parquetry panel inlays on both the front and side. Tongue and groove case construction and dovetailed drawers are evidence of fine cabinetry. The secondary wood is oak which gives them strength, weight, and durability. The cabinets are all original, including the bronze mounts and marble, and in overall excellent condition. One marble has two very small chips that are virtually unnoticeable. There is a key included which is not pictured. The cabinets measure 32.5"high x 16"wide x 9.75"deep.
