C. 1840 child's plank bottom high chair of pine or poplar, probably originating from Delaware or Pennsylvania. Overall excellent condition and free of damage and repair. The chalky white paint is an overcoat to the original green and probably was done 70-80 years ago. Well designed and constructed, and retaining all is original sections, still tightly in place. Minimal age appropriate wear on the footrest. 35.25" high.
