C. 1935 American Sterling Tray in the Chippendale pattern made by Frank W. Smith Co. of Gardner, MA. The company was famous for fine silver hollowware and flatware. The round tray has a pie crust scalloped border with a very stylized central monogram. The tray is in very good condition with the typical scuffs, a ding and some minor pitting, and wear of a tray used over a long period of time. It has had no repairs. The Tray weighs 43 ounces and has a diameter of 16".
