Pair of sterling silver weighted candlesticks made in Sheffield, England in 1904 by Thomas Bradbury and Sons, with original bobeches. The company began as Mathew Fenton and Co., then became T. Watson and Co. Thomas Bradbury joined the firm in 1795 as a partner. Thomas Bradbury took over completely in 1832 along with his sons Joseph and Edward. The company continued into the 20th century. The candlesticks are in very good condition with a small separation and dent at the top of one of the capitals. Also, the bobeches are very tight. But with that said these candlesticks are beautifully designed and constructed, and clearly hallmarked on the edge of the base. There are no monograms. The candlesticks measure just over 7 inches tall.
