An aqua quart jar boldly embossed "Meyer's Test Jar". It is a hand blown and ground lip jar with two protruding lugs for the closure which is missing. In excellent condition with shimmering, bubbly glass. A quart jar sold for $210. On EBay in 2010. The jar was patented by Portas M. Hinman of Rochester, N.Y. And reportedly made there. Height is seven inches.
