American sterling bowl in the lotus pattern c.1925 by the M. Fred Hirsch Co., Inc. of Jersey City, New Jersey. The company was in business from 1920 to 1945 when it was succeeded by the Fisher Silver Company. The hallmark on the bowl is the earlier of two marks used by Hirsch. The bowl is divided into eight sections and has a gently flaring rim. It has light scuffs in the center of the bowl but no pings,dents, repair or damage. It is in excellent condition. It is engraved with an insignia or monogram of some sort. It has full marks on its base and measures 4.75"high x 10"wide. Weighs 23.6 ounces.
